The Student Energy Group believe in simply doing the right thing. Here are some of the ways we’ve been trying to help out people and the planet:
- We are fighting climate change. Our partnership with The Future Forest Company gives us the ability to plant a tree every time a property signs up with us. 7,589 trees have been planted so far!
- Not all land is suitable for planting trees. We’re helping to restore the UK’s natural biodiversity in other ways too. Continuing our work with The Future Forest Company, we are going to sow wildflowers. This is an important project that aims to rejuvenate natural habitats for birds, mammals, and insects.
- The Student Energy Group exist to create a greener, brighter future. But we can’t accomplish that task alone. We are taking action on a global scale by raising funds for WWF. Our contribution will go toward conservation and preventing human-wildlife conflict.
- Chesterfield FC Community Trust are doing some great things for their local community. We have sponsored their warm hub so they can provide much needed help to local families during the colder months.
- Individual lives matter deeply to us. That’s why we stand behind SIFA’s cause. SIFA is a Birmingham based charity that assist people with recovering from the effects of homelessness and addiction. Our backing has helped the charity to continue providing much needed resources to the Birmingham community.
