How we Have Helped
For over a year, TSEG has supported SIFA Fireside Birmingham, covering the cost of the charity’s utility bills for their local headquarters located at B9 4DY – after all, we are a student bills company! As well as financial contributions, our team members have volunteered in the charity’s soup kitchen, which is part of their Digbeth Support Centre. It’s a simple way we can provide emergency support and help build a stronger community.
With our own Social Networks well-established, we’re proud to be using our platform to help raise awareness of the fantastic work SIFA Fireside does – amplifying their most recent campaigns on our channels to help reach a wider audience and spread their important message as far as possible. We encourage students to sign up for our student gas and electric deals, and a portion of the proceeds goes towards supporting SIFA Fireside’s mission of homelessness prevention and recovery from homelessness.
SIFA Fireside provides vital services to those experiencing rough sleeping and women’s rough sleeping in Birmingham. Their homeless outreach team connects people to specialist housing and charities that help with housing like shelter housing Birmingham. At their Adult Support Hub, they offer health and wellbeing services, money and welfare benefits advice, employability training including CV workshops and Job Clubs, and life skills and creativity workshops to help rebuild lives. Their Peer Mentor team and client involvement initiatives ensure they are providing the most impactful Homelessness Intervention and prevention services.
Through this partnership, our team aren’t just doing the right thing but are helping a vital local cause and supporting the local community when they need it most.
